You couldn't find a more pleasant place to hold your special event than at the St. Petersburg Museum of History. The ambiance at the Museum brings class and interest to your event through our Evening Rental Program.
The St. Petersburg Museum of History is nestled on the beautiful waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg. This unique rental facility features the glass enclosed First Airline Pavilion overlooking breathtaking views of Tampa Bay, The Pier, Vinoy Yacht Club, sailboats at the St. Petersburg Marina, and Straub Park.

Evening Rental Program:
SPMOH is available for rentals seven days a week. The First Airline Pavilion offers generous accommodations for up to 150 guests for sit down dinners, and up to 175 for cocktails and dancing. Whether it's a banquet, wedding reception, corporate event, or private party, our Museum provides a perfect setting for your special event.
The rental includes:

Use of the First Airline Gallery and all other galleries and exhibits (limited to one hour for viewing purposes only) at the Museum.

Utilities, security, set-up, breakdown and clean-up.

Use of round tables (seating for 8), rectangular tables and chairs.

P.A. system with lectern. ($30 additional)
Catering:

Caterer’s set-up and food preparation time is 2 hours prior to start of the event.

The Museum requests that renters use one of the caterers from our Preferred Caterers list, such as Orange Blossom Catering.

You must make your own arrangements with the caterer or other vendor for additional items such as a dance floor, entertainment, linens, flowers, photography or decorations.
The Museum may be able to assist you with information on potential vendors. Experienced vendors include the "EXPERT" Company for your disc jockey and photography needs and Carter's Florist.
Rates:

The rental rate for Friday, Saturday or Sunday is $1200 plus tax which includes a $250 reservation fee.The rental rate for Monday through Thursday is $950 plus tax which includes a $250 reservation fee.

The reservation fee and the signed rental agreement are required to reserve date. The rental fee is due 60 days prior to the event date.

If event is cancelled at least 61 days prior to reserve date, all payments can be refunded. 60 days prior to event the reservation fee is no longer refundable.
