Educational Tours

Guided Tours:
SPMOH has over 30,000 artifacts and archives in collections. The Museum welcomes groups of all ages to view some of these artifacts and learn the history of the city, Florida and the U.S. from our interactive displays. Group rates are available. Please contact the Education Curator or the Reception for more information and to schedule a tour.

School Tours:
Students may enjoy viewing a 3,000 year old mummy and the two-headed calf, but the real value of a class visit to the Museum is bringing history to life. Guided school tours link social studies lessons in Florida and United States History to our daily lives. Historical themes covered by trained docents address the Sunshine State Standards in Social Studies, Language Arts, Visual Arts and Science. School Tour rates are available. Please book tours at least three weeks in advanced. Click here for more information. Contact the Education Curator or the Reception for special needs, curriculum details, additional information, and to schedule a tour.
