Archives and Collections
In addition to our exhibits, we maintain a collection of over 32,000 artifacts, an archive of over 8000 historic photos and 5000 documents.
Special educational programs are presented periodically and group tours of the exhibits are available upon request. Research available for a small fee.

Artifacts Study Lab:

A new Artifact Study Lab will enable staff and researchers to identify, preserve, and conserve artifacts related to local history. The lab includes special equipment for this purpose.
Learning Center and Lab:
The new Learning Center and Laboratory offers facilities for use by local schools in teaching our local heritage.
Archives:
The new archives offers a public reading room for residents and researchers, including computer access to the Museum’s collection of rare historic photos.

Please Use Our Archival Services
The Museum library includes city directories, news clippings with subject lists, 8000 Digitized Photos, maps as old as 1600’s and real estate Platt books.
In addition, the Museum archives house the collections for:
